  1. Martin Bijman, the director of intellectual property products at TechInsights has praised this portfolio: “It appears this portfolio would be of interest considering it has some early patents in the segment, and is ranked fourth in Patent Influence after Cree (49%), Toyoda Gosei (14%), and Samsung (12%)" (source: iam)

  2. The patent portfolio is the result of more than $100 million in R&D by Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc. (SETi), which was founded in 1999 at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. SETi was at the forefront of GaN device development for high power RF and LED UV technologies. Since being acquired by Seoul Semiconductor, SETi focuses on LED UV technologies and now its GaN RF patent portfolio is heading for auction. Three of the patents are licensed to the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army, confirming the value of the portfolio. Find more details in the 5G Auction Brochure

  3. How does the portfolio measure up to the 3,000 most similar patents? Learn more here in the 5G Portfolio Comparsion.
